Selective From The Start. To be eligible for the MINI Certified Program, a vehicle must be no more than 5 years old from its original in-service date and have no more than 120,000 kilometers on the odometer. All electric vehicles come with a battery health report indicating the battery’s state of health.
Minimum 1-year warranty coverage. Every MINI Certified vehicle is backed by a minimum of 1 year warranty coverage.* Depending on the age of the vehicle, all MINI Certified vehicles include comprehensive coverage of either the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for up to 4 years or 80,000 kms, whichever comes first, or a 5-year unlimited kms powertrain warranty. *All MINI Certified vehicles will include either 1) balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for up to 4 years or 80,000 kms, whichever comes first, or 2) 5 year and unlimited kilometers Powertrain Limited Warranty, from vehicle in-service date.
360° vehicle check including battery health report. Before a pre-owned MINI vehicle is awarded the MINI Certified Pre-Owned status, it must pass a multitude of technical and visual inspections - for 100% premium quality. The electric vehicle battery state of health is thoroughly inspected and is documented in the Battery Health Quick Report.
For battery electric vehicles, the lithium-ion high-voltage battery is covered against defects in materials and workmanship under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 8 years or 160,000 kms, which ever occurs first. This applies to our model year 2022-2025 MINI electric cars.

The range and charging performance of an electric car battery decline over time in line with a normal ageing process. Prioritizing slow charging conserves the electric car battery. The Battery Health Quick Report is a test procedure that is conducted on the battery of every MINI Certified Pre-Owned electric vehicle.
The Battery Health Quick Report serves to determine the current state of health (SoH) of the electric car battery. The SoH value defines the maximum energy capacity of a pre-owned electric car battery, compared to the original condition of a new battery. The rapid analysis process takes less than an hour. It can verify the performance and condition of an electric car battery. There are measures you can take yourself: a conservative driving style and careful handling will give your electric car battery the longest possible service life.
