Itching to get a little more MINI in your life? Hey, who isn’t! Lucky for you, there’s always a MINI Event on the horizon that’s ready to get you more in-tune with the wonderful world of MINI motoring.
On October 5th and 6th, 2019, 642 passionate Motorers from all over Canada made the #TREKTOPEC (aka Prince Edward County, Ontario) in 323 MINIs for MINI Invasion 2019. After a quick meetup in Belleville, we motored on to Parsons Brewing Company in Picton to celebrate MINI’s 60th anniversary, enjoy some tasty eats prepared by iconic Canadian Chef Jamie Kennedy, and get an exclusive sneak peek of the first all-electric MINI. On the following day, Invaders trekked over to Shannonville Motorsport Park where they had the chance to take their MINIs on the track, unleash the new 301-HP MINI John Cooper Works, and watch our special guest for the weekend, Charlie Cooper – grandson of John Cooper – put on a show in the MINI JCW Clubman ALL4. In the year of MINI’s 60th anniversary, MINI Invasion 2019 fused past, present, and future to give all who attended a taste of what our brand and our community stand for.
On October 14th 2017, Motorers from across Canada Rallied En Masse to the beautiful, historic city of Montréal as part of MINI Invasion 2017. On arrival, owners were treated to a victory lap around Québec’s iconic Circuit ICAR racetrack before heading to Montréal’s Arsenal Art Gallery for an evening celebration.
In a year representing Canada 150, and MINI's 15 year anniversary in the country, guests enjoyed components of the past, present, and future of the brand making it one of the most memorable Invasions to date.
On February 28th, Motorers from across Ontario met up for the second annual MINI Snowkyo Drift. Although we were missing one small detail (snow) that didn’t stop us from making the most of our day. We embarked on a scenic drive, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and rode shotgun in a MINI John Cooper Works Countryman WRC driven by Canadian rally racer Joel Levac. We’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story.
On August 22nd, 2015 MINI owners from across Canada took to their MINIs and invaded the Nation’s Capital as part of MINI Invasion 2015. With over 640 Motorers in attendance it was by far the largest MINI road trip in Canadian history. A testament to the Canadian MINI Community being the most passionate group of MINI enthusiasts in the world. Although the event has come and gone we’re certain that the memories made and the friendships forged will last a lifetime.
